CHRIZ AMAYA
CHRIZ AMAYA (Christian Amaya Macías) is an artist, songwriter, and creative director originally from Veracruz, Mexico, and currently based in Los Angeles. He launched his solo career in 2023 and has quickly established himself as part of a new generation of Latin artists pushing the boundaries of pop, hip hop, and R&B through a distinctive sonic and visual identity.
His most recent EP, no me quiero morir en LA (I Don’t Want to Die in LA), explores themes of identity, displacement, and the emotional experience of building a life far from one’s place of origin. Standout singles from the project include “INOCENTE,” “CULPABLE,” and “SANGRE,” further establishing a cohesive artistic vision across both sound and visuals.
Beyond music, CHRIZ AMAYA has built an immersive artistic world in which each release contributes to a larger conceptual narrative. His work is defined by visual symbolism, spiritual references, and ritualistic imagery that reinforce recurring themes of love, sacrifice, guilt, and redemption. This multidisciplinary approach positions him not only as a performer, but also as an artist whose work extends beyond music into a cohesive visual and conceptual practice.
